About Me
Antee Mewa Training & Consultancy Services is respresented by Antee Mewa,
who is a Business Consultant, Trainer and Certified Meta-Coach.
She started her career in 2004 at Accenture Mauritius Ltd where she spent 6 years and had the privilege to be trained at the clients’ place in Rennes (France), who is a renowned French brand. Her experience at Accenture Mauritius Ltd helped her to develop her leadership and communications skills. She had the opportunity to work in different departments namely Accounts Payable Team from April 2004 to August 2007, then moved to the Cash & Bank Team in February 2007 for the same client.
In September 2009 she was given the opportunity to move in the Travel and Expense team where she learnt new skills and had work directly with colleagues from Czech Republic.
She was in Paris (France) in February 2009 for the transfer of knowledge for another French client and lead her team in the Accounts Payable department.
In December 2010, she decided to make a career change and took up the challenge of becoming a trainer for a South African company, TowerStone Mauritius Consultancy Services Ltd.
It was her first step in training whereby she seized the opportunity to follow the Train the Trainer programme organized by South Africa in January 2011.
She spent three and a half years at Towerstone Mauritius Consultancy Service Ltd where she had the opportunity to be part of the Strategic Planning in 2012, in Cape Town, South Africa and facilitated trainings for various clients in the Banking, Tourism, Health, Outsourcing and Financial sectors.
In June 2015, after the closing down of Towerstone Mauritius Consultancy Service Ltd in Mauritius, Antee joined Talents Solutions Ltd where she facilitated training programmes for the Currimjee group on Culture.
From September 2015 to December 2015, she spent a short time At CAPFOR Mauritius, where she worked as HR Consultant by planning interviews, participating in recruitment, screening of candidates’ CV and developing job descriptions.
Antee had another big opportunity in March 2016 where she joined the Civil Service College Mauritius (CSCM). Her career took a different turn where she learnt a lot about the public sector and she stayed at CSCM till May 2019.
Her experience at Civil Service College Mauritius (CSCM) helped her to plan and coordinate events develop and deliver training programmes, monitor the college’s website, lead workshops with different stakeholders, especially the Ministries, United Nations Development Programme
(UNDP), United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), The Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE), Chinese Academy of Governance, University of Botswana and Projet D’appui a la Gouvernance Institutionnelle (PAGI) from Madagascar.
Her role at CSCM has taught her to have a sharp eye for detail, be methodological in her approach, coordinate workshops and projects, adopt management and communication skills, develop her writing skills, develop good relationship with different stakeholders and manage a team of five persons. Through her stay at CSCM, she ensured smooth running of training, build a culture aligned to company’s objectives, reviewing staff’s performance on a regular basis.
Antee joined Polytechnics Mauritius, where she worked in the IT department from Sept 2019 to March 2020 as the Programme Coordinator. She conducted soft skills trainings, was involved in the Hackathon 2019 and was part of the recruitment of 300 IT students for the 2020 intake.
In 2020 Antee decided to launch Antee Mewa Training and Consultancy Services and to become a full-time entrepreneur and freelancer.
Since then, she has worked with different companies and universities such as ASKspire Corporate Services Ltd, Beachcomber group, Terragen Management Ltd, Arilyst Technologies, Université des Mascareignes (UDM), Ecole Nationale Supérieures d’Architectures de Nantes (Mauritius) - ENSA and others whereby she conducted different soft skills trainings for their respective personnel and students.
As part of personal development plan, Antee went through the Associate Certified Meta-Coach (ACMC) bootcamp in South Africa and is currently a Certified Meta-Coach. Antee is focusing more and more on Coaching because she believes that both individuals and leaders in the organisations, need to identify their areas of improvement, reinforce their strengths and further unleash their potentials.
